Great day at Mt Rainier

Thanks Linda ~ I should add that this was taken in 1991 in Aug, don't see this much snow on the Mt in Aug anymore.

I like the ring around the sun Dave. And is this a long exposure, seems like it is due to the clouds over the top of the mountain.

Dave, I really agree with Tom, the ring around the sun is way cool.

I've also been to Mt Rainier and know that once the clouds start to form, watch out.

Tom, this is a 25 yr old photo scanned from a slide. It was a time when I was making my first attempts at getting into photography and I was using the Cokin filter system. My thought is that I was using a ND filter so the exposure time would have been a little longer (I didn't keep records of settings etc).

Susan, thank you so much for the nice poem. I should change the caption and add the poem, as Kim states, it works nicely.
