One large shadow on the sky

When looked at small the moon seems like it is being closed inn by the trees but when looked at bigger it looks like the moon is lighting the trees and the trees are reaching out to the moon for more light. The snow on the trees is just perfectly lit and I am glad you didn't try to light them up more as the blue in the sky is a perfect shade. I love this as it has the feel of a painting without being painted. It has a warmth to it without being warm. What a wonderful picture ;) ~ (smiley to you) ~ micki

Thank you, Ceylan and Micki. I was just leaving from my office when I noticed this lovely combination of light and moon. If it would have got any darker, the tree would have been too dark and the moon too bright. I was a bit uncertain about posting this, but I am so glad that you liked it.
