Natural selection has camouflaged this bird nicely for the local setting and your picture properly shows it. That presents a problem with making a dramatic photograph. Perhaps if the background were darker the value contrasts would offset the lack of color contrast.

I love your bird-photos, and this one is also great. Excellent light, colors, sharpness and details.
