alight 0 Posted February 16, 2007 Hello Micheal. Great perspective and atmosphere. I wish the very foreground leaves and grass be sharp. I like the square format. BTW, how do you like the D80, honestly? I will be buying it soon. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment

ken dennis 0 Posted February 17, 2007 This works for me, in contrast to the above comment about the DOF, I think its perfect, the soft foreground leaves the eye to wander amongst the trees, besides, if you had used a tighter aperture, it would have killed the foggy/misty look with to much contrast! Just my opinion of course! Ken. Link to comment

stp 6 Posted October 28, 2013 I'm coming back to this photo over six years later, and I no longer agree with my own original comment. I think the slightly OOF foreground makes the primary subject stand out that much stronger. This is one of several general opinions I've had in the past about photographs that have changed over time. There is a wonderful atmosphere to this photograph that I really like and probably didn't fully appreciate way back when. I'm glad it came up again. Link to comment
