White tiger series

2ND in a series of twenty I did of tigers jumping out of the water.

How did you get black background? Edit? I love it! 7/7

Did not have to do much editing on this,it was a dark overcast day,just darkened a notch in PS.

Dear Birte, this was a great picture. As mentioned above the background is great as well as foreground i.e. the tiger.

...only you could do better job in cutting him from original. Its too visible.

Very nice image, Birte, but here it seems over-sharpened - a bit too much for my liking. So sharp in fact that the whiskers and other small details of the animal are segmented. I'm sure in hi-res the image is spectacular, but for smaller presentations like on PN there is too much edge sharpening (perhaps not enough anti-alias or feather was used). The finite details have become too bold and it is difficult to see past the flaws and appreciate the rest of the image. Wonderful capture nonetheless.

Spectacular shot!! Such a beautiful composition and positioning of the animal - - your perspective of it. What makes the tiger seem so angry? Or is he jumping up for food? He is really making his presence known isn't he!!
