Tea House Photomaniac

shot was taken on a recent tour in Kalar Kahar Valley. in a tea

house i was looking 4 a shot. i focused on the poster of an actress

on the wall, guy in the front stares at me over his glasses, in

disapproval i guess. mirror shows photographer & the activity in the

other part of the room. comments/ critique welcome.

I agree, great photo on many counts. Here's my observation on a minor compositional element: the inverted triangle made by the red of your hat and arms, the red end of the cigarette pack, and the red lips of the girl in the picture. Well done.

First I see the actress, then the cigarette and how he holds it, then the cheap table, then the expression of the man, than the lively scene in the mirror with the hidden photographer in the mirror in the mirror... For so many reasons, such an impressing photo. The image within another, the figure on the wall, the glance thrown by the primary subject and the self portrait if one may add, all combine to make an enthralling capture.
