nice shot, good colors

Looks like a perfect Sunday afternoon. Was it really taken with a 300mm lens?

Stunning colours - painterly feel. Love the way the two chasing dogs provide a fragile balance to the family group. Inspiring work.

That was shot with the 17-40, not the 300/f4. There were some surfers off the beach and I had changed for the pano.

Nice "watercolor". I spent January in Dublin and this shot reminds me of the Turner exhibit.

Peter, it works wonderfully to my knowledge, details are fine but a wide range well executed excels everything. I agree on the Turner comparison. Ruskin would have dribbled about those clouds quite a bit.Greetings.

Really like the lighting on this one.

The lighting really sets the mood and enhances the glow of the rich golden colour of the sand. I like how the line of waves turns into a mist just behind the family.This is a pleasure to view. Thank you for your thoughs on my image. Kim
