ryourth 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Nice colourful image & without the black bare tree it would be an ordibary nice image. But the tree ,to me, adds a touch of mystery or foreboding to the scene which makes your image very strong. Regards -Ross Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 5, 2007 Beautiful atmosphere, I like the colors and textures; excellent light and a very well calibrated display! I am using Spyder 2 Express, what are you using for calibration? Best regards, Catalin Link to comment

bram_de_mooij 0 Posted March 6, 2007 These colours look unreal, but I would not be surprised, if they are real.Anyway the image looks like an "aquarel" painting.Since I owned an E-300 (4:3) before I bought my D80 (3:2), I still have to get used to this format. I feel like cropping :-) , but I guess I am wrong.BdM Link to comment
arash khoshghadam 0 Posted March 14, 2007 The colors are there in the original file which is RAW. I have saturated the colors and intensified the shadows to further enrich the colors. The aim here has been to turn the scene into a place out of our dreams, somewhere impossible to reach but yet giving us the joy of being able to perceive. The image is not on the verge of Fauvism ( founded by Kandinsky ) who believed in painting a landscape with colors so stimulatingly unreal that the viewer's sense of reality was defied greatly. This one is still retaining the original color characteristics of the object though a bit exaggerated. Link to comment
