bartimeus1 0 Posted February 13, 2007 I interpret one definition of "fine art" the way, that the art work has something beautiful and/or effective in it. The subject may come from the nature, or from any other source... But how do you see it and what do you see in this image? Is it worth posting at all, or worth posting to the Fine art-folder? Thank you for your feedback! Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted February 13, 2007 i think this could go either as an abstract or fine art. i don't know the line that seperates the two personally. thanks for your continued support Alpo. you always have more than "good shot" in regards to your thoughtful comments on my work. i like the panorama, or long horitzontal composition. i can see you were working for very subtle shifts in the grey values, or middle tones (which is hard to do on PN with disperate monitor settings) i like when the FG sets a theme that is repeated without distraction toward infinity. i'm not sure if its my monitor, but perhaps a bit more density in some areas would deepen the effect. take care my friend, J.K.
