Music to my eyes?

This is a really nice idea, Doug. It really suggests the music to me. Great shot. I wonder if the fingertips were a little out of focus if it would have suggested a bit more movement? Although, I certainly get the feeling they are moving as it is.

I tried some shots with slower shutter speeds and there was too much movement. Maybe I'll try a few more. Thanks for the comments and ratings and most of all thanks for looking!

I do like them, and I have to say I prefer this one. I like that you get just a hint of the detailing on the wood, and I'm almost expecting the thumb to pluck that string at any moment. The composition is also right on and being so close gives you a real feeling of intimacy. Nice shot!
