pnital 36 Posted February 13, 2007 Another scene of my dance serries, " Concerto for an orchestra and four dancers." Choreography : Sally An Fridland. A full Orchestra on the stage , as a part of the dance. Thanks, Pnina Link to comment
Dennis Newman 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Lovely lighting! There are some distracting hotspots in the background that I suggest you darken so they don't stand out. Otherwise I think you have a nice balance of light setting the dancer off from the orchestra. Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Pnina beautiful light on the star and the dim backlight on the orchestra gives an intense atmosphere. Link to comment

alberto.conde 0 Posted February 13, 2007 I do agree with Biliana. The orchestra, barely lit, enough to apprreciate it, is the perfect background for the dancer. Beautiful toning, as well Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted February 14, 2007 Beautiful tone and composition, focus on the dancer is very good. I might tone down the reflection at left a bit; it tends to pull the eye. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted February 14, 2007 Very good stage scene captured, Pnina. Those 'darkened" "benind the scene" musicians compliments the dancer upfront in a very good light. Very good contrast & pose. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted February 15, 2007 Thanks Les, Cherlyn, Paula and Hans for your comments. Hans, I worked with 3 groups till now, some of a dance in formation, participating in all rehearsals, and one the last one ( the brown series) photographing while performing on stage. Worked on this one with a Lens : Canon 70-200. L F4, no flash Iso- 1600. with under exposure of 1-2 stops. depends of the light on the stage. I hope it answers your question, If you want more details Please ask. Less, thanks I will tune down a bit the reflections, you were right. Link to comment
