Neat shot is this an Australian shepherd ? I saw some working sheep at the American Royal this year and I'm curious about how high maintenance they are. We had to put our grayhound to sleep last fall and thinking about getting another pet. Grays are great but very high maintenance can't take the heat or cold.I would like to get something that could stand up to country living. Lots of coyotes and bobcats in this area.

They can be high maint but not as much as a grey. She is a rescue (why she has a tail) but they are REALLY smart. They are VERY trainable and very loyal! Wonderful inside or outside dogs and they do come in mini sizies now to (about 30 pounds). Callie is about 50 pounds. She is a wonderful companion for me during the day but I have to play with her lots! ~ sorry to hear about your dog :( ~ micki

This is one of my favarites to as she is so sweet and I loved the contrast between the cement and her.
