Linda, there's a dramatic change going from the color to this Sepia version. Both are superb. Personally, though, I like the color version better. There just seems to be so much color, and you'd never guess that by looking at the Sepia version. I also like the color change that takes place in the facial hair, in the color version. But that's just a matter of taste. This is an outstanding photo.

Really classic style with the sepia tones. I like better this version. The tones seem more well balanced in this version. Smoother to the eye than the color version more contrasting.

I do love this version, Linda. Has a timeless look to it. Could have been taken this week or 80 years ago. Very nice!!

My vote's in for the sepia version, it has that wonderful "old time" feel to it and is a very classic looking portraiture style. Very interesting looking fellow, has a worldly look to him and maybe a little pensive. I also think Carsten's adjustment helped with the exposure. Good on ya girl.

as a very nice pleasing softer look that seems more effective to me. but htat is just my opinion! A classic style that fits this subject well!
