Bianca,I like this a lot. The force of the pillars and the entangled stone structures create an atmosphere of spirituality as far as I experience the scene. I would maybe have darkened it slightly and given the colour tones some more saturation. However I love it also as it is.

Hola Bianca. Magnifica perspectiva de la mezquita de Cordoba. ?Cuando estuviste por alli? En mi galeria tambien tengo algunas fotos de Cordoba de un viaje que hice en mayo del 2006.

Saludos y a seguir haciendo buenas fotos.

... the angle on the building toward the open space and the two people walking, the distortion. Not sure what it does or says. Interesting take on the space, however.

..a previous commentator praises the light...please don't tell me this was the scene as you saw it, but that you photoshopped a plain boring light photo (with excellent composition however) to death creating this lovely light effect.

in other words: please don't tell me you got some portable, ideal, magical, moody, light following you every where you go? If so, where can I buy it? :)

cheers,

hahaha, no extra lights Marc.... Everything is strictly forbidden in this place! No tripods, no monpods, no nothing..... so no lights for sure :-)

Just patience...

Scanning Holga images: quite simple, as they are crappy images from a technical point of view, I use a common flatbed scanner. Indeed if you use the standard film holders with it, the film gets cropped making it not possible to scan the film information on the side of the film strip. One should use the standard filmholders because they suppose to keep the film on the ideal distance. However as we are dealing with Holga made film: I occassionally just toss them on the glas plate of the scanner :) and voila, you scan the whole film.

cheers,

Marc
