bosshogg 4 Posted February 9, 2007 Nice image. I don't find it nearly as artistically satisfying as your "Getting the Mail" image, it is almost as poignant. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted February 9, 2007 You're right as rain. This isn't as good, compositionally or in terms of clarity. It was shot through a very dirty truck windshield. What makes matters worse is that I frightened her by driving around the block twice to get in position behind her. I saw her clutching her purse. Thankfully, I see her at the grocery store and will have a chance to apologize. Link to comment
evb 0 Posted February 9, 2007 I like this composition better than the black and white version where you've cut out the telephone poles on the left. I think this version would look nice in black and white too. You've done a great job with these people pictures. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,927 Posted February 14, 2007 People living in that area must have strong legs. In NE Illinois we'd call a slope like this a Mountain Peak. I'm seeing a perfect crease in the slacks which tells me she likes to iron & has all her ducks in a row. & I gotta tell you Doug, when I read your comment I laughed out loud. Stalking the poor woman like that , at least she clutched her purse & didn't hit you with it. But you're a real Southern gentleman & apologized. Great photo, great story. Link to comment
