Very nice work Micki. Good smooth colours, composition, and filtering. Did you use PS to do that? Best regards, Torfinn.

I was just messing around for fun at WOW ~ I was jumping around going yeah!! I really liked it like this and will be giving it as a gift. I will now start doing some more of this with other sunsets. I posted a picture yesterday of a sunset picture just like this. I have a PS program that works well with this "print" workshop and I would use it for publishing work It works well with colors and this just really shocked me. Thank you for your comment :) ~ micki

Hello Micky. This is like a painting, very graphical. I love the background hues, just my favourite colours, cheers Jana

Thanks for the comments on my work. I like this one very much and would hang it in my office given it were in a gallery and of a large picture. Curious as to what program you used to manipulate the photo. Very good stuff in your forum also.

Thank you for your kind comments ~ I used on this program Microsoft Digital Image but use many different stuff. Waiting for VISTA ;) ~ Who knows what I will use. I am forever tweaking and manipulating stuff till it works just right. This is a filter called "cutout" after moving the colors (saturation and such into a higher definition) and then putting it into a watercolor look. It takes a lot of time but is well worth it. I then put a rough look over it (texture) to make it look like it is a canvas.

I think this is your best picture, I really like the colours (and ofcourse the compo). And you succeeded very well in your purpose to make this look like a painting.

Only thing I would have tried different is maybe, to use the smudge-tool, so that the colours would go fluently from one to the other. Wouldn't that make it look more like a painting?

It just looked like the picture (it is in my sunrise folder) and so it didn't look like a canvas anymore.

Thank you for liking it. It is one of my favorite too! :)
