katmaidog 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Jana I really like the background and middle ground of this photo. The placement of the three trees works really well, and the muted blues and browns of the scenery give me a feeling of great space. The only thing I don't like is the dune with the bush in the foreground. It is so different from the rest of the photo that it seems to interfere with the photo itself, almost as if it were pasted on. Link to comment
mikestacey 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Opposite to Matt I like the constrasting foreground and I'd like to see more of it. Quite surreal the way it is so different. I can see a number of shots using a layered approach. Maybe isolating more of the fg dune - like the shrub on the left then a layer of middle distance plus a layer of background then a layer of sky; all equal size layers Just a thought. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted February 8, 2007 hello guys, thanks for the comments and ideas. I have a lot of images from this scene with different compositions. Another image has been just posted. cheers Jana Link to comment
lincoln1 0 Posted May 7, 2007 Perfect composition, and I like the sand in there which is a nice contrast to the grass. The mountains in the back also make a nicer backdrop than blue sky, I think. Great photo. Link to comment
