stormphotonet 1 Posted February 8, 2007 What do you think, how could this be shot better? Link to comment
dee 14 0 Posted February 8, 2007 I've tried doing indoor sports shots, and it's not as easy as it seems. I think you've got a good moment here, and you've captured it very well. Link to comment
stormphotonet 1 Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks Darren when they light these houses of ice it is by candle light lol. I am shooting a tournament this weekend 16 hours of Hockey. I went to the rink last night and it looked more like a move theater so I will have a challenge with speed. Thanks for your comment and I should have some photos from it posted on Monday. And we will be sending live video by way of the inter-net here is the link stop in this weekend and watch a game. http://www.schl.org/ Happy shooting Ken Link to comment
dee 14 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks Ken. That Nikon has great ISO speeds and low noise, so it should be OK. If this shot is any judge, you were able to stop the action quite well. Have fun this weekend. Link to comment
Yiannis D 0 Posted February 8, 2007 I think it needs a bit more contrast and color saturation, also in my monitor i see red cast on the ice. The composition is excellent. Link to comment
stormphotonet 1 Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks Yiannis, this was my second time shooting Hockey and the first week with the D200 but the color thing I can fix in PS. This rink is well lit but the one I am shooting in this weekend the lighting is very poor. So up on the ISO lol Shooting sports is all new to me so I am having fun learning Thanks for your thoughts.
