Extremely pleasing image with great colors & flower is nicely off center. Problems for me: 1) Background is a bit too strong - competes with the flower. 2)I would like to see the whole flower. 3)One stem is out of focus - just need a little more depth of field. Well done.

This looks like an outside flower but I am confused by the blue background - it makes a very striking image! Almost an abstract flavour to it. Great composition!

Beautiful flower. I agree with the comment that the background is rather overwhelming. The ouf-of-focus leaf is distracting too, maybe you can try to darken it, it would not stand out as much.

Thanks for comments, Roger expecially for taking the time to really look at image. The depth of field was tricky and anymore would have shown the glaze on the blue pot in the background. This is most definatly a tender bulb but will grow in an outdoor garden in southern South Carolina and south.

The shape of the flowers + the electric blue background makes an eye catching combo! I don't feel that they compete with each other.
