This photograph 5 by 7 was taken with an 1885 Anthony Scovill Waterbury Camera. Lens

#830. Because it was slightly dark outside an 1886 Hayden & Co. Flash Lamp was used.

About 4 teaspoons of flash powder was used illuminate the scenary. Thank You

A very interesting endeavor, I give you credit in trying to capturing the essence of b&w photography without the technology of the 21st century........

I'm really impressed!

 

I will say though, that I'm so impressed with the technique, the camera, the flash powder, that it's difficult to evaluate the photograph without that bias.
