vallery 0 Posted February 4, 2007 Luthier fashioning a dobro. All elements necessary for his craft...so nothing was posed or moved for effect. Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Neat post Vallery. When I was in 4th grade my dad made a guitar. It was an amazing thing to watch even at that age. Soaking the wood and all the molds. My Dad left this world 11 years ago and the guitar is still here and part of the art in our home. I Love the picture....and thanks for the memories!J Link to comment
vallery 0 Posted February 6, 2007 your story Janis. It is so sweet... It is fascinating to see the things we really do take for granted being crafted. It truly is an art to make a guitar and not just play one. This guy has been making guitars and dobros for over 20 years and every item in the picture is used and stays in it's place - so- I didn't move anything out of respect for his craft. Thanks for stopping by! regards vallery Ps I hope someone plays that guitar every once in awhile! Link to comment
