This is an old Teutonic Order castle - Malbork, Poland. One of the biggest medieval castles in Europe. Some info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malbork_Castle - but you may Google "Malbork castle" and will get hundreds of pages.

It is truly remarkable and BIG - shown in the picture is only a small part of it.

 

It's colorful. A postcard quality.

I like the spot and the architecture a lot, and the composition and colours are well done. The only negative would be about lighting, the sun is too strong and casts harsh shadows. It would make a much nicer picture in an early morning or at sunset time. 4/5.

I like how you managed to get such a crispy and neat colors form a difficult exposure, the facades are in the shadow and they appear very clear. From a distance, the bright green line invite you in the picture. Well done!

Well, Elisabetta, there is a lot to be said for Fuji Reala. I haven't even tried digital on this shot, as contrast was way out of what a sensor could handle - and no ND grads on hand at the time. Thanks :)
