I love this photo because it was a long time exposed photo (S-1/2) without any tripod. I exposed this while i was driving the car and at one stop i was waiting for someone and took this one. This phot tells the story of shortage of electricity in villages of India.

As a documentary image I kind of feel that I need more information as to what I am looking at. It could certainly influence my rating. I have an image at http://photo.net/photodb/photo?topic_id=1481&msg_id=00Jhir&photo_id=5504860&photo_sel_index=0 that is a sort of documentary image, without reading the caption you might think it was an ugly beach. I believe the caption "makes" the image.
