marco_ruggiero 0 Posted February 2, 2007 Great shot. I like the way that you have captured all the lighting on the bridge's pilons and the building in the middle. Also great framing and the reflections of the pilons and the building, perfect. Compliments. Marco Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted February 2, 2007 Thank you, Marco. This was an extremely tough exposure. I've been trying this shot for weeks and this is my best result to date. It's so hard to get a proper exposure because I want the picture to be a night shot, but the bridge and church steeples get progressively brighter and brighter relative to the foreground as it gets darker. And, I think the foreground--the creek and row of houses--does add to the shot so I want them visible. I've figured out there is a window of only a couple minutes about 45 minutes after sunset when you can get a decent result. I have shots with perfect foreground and then shots with a perfect bridge and church steeples but this is the best all-around compromise for a total shot I've gotten thus far. I appreciate your kind remarks! Link to comment
