The lighting is great. I'd almost consider cropping it slightly different though. Draw more attention to her face somehow... like maybe a panoramic type crop just under her scarf and just above her head. It's great how it is though - It has a fine art feel.

Thanks, Rebecca. Yeah...your crop advice is pretty valid. I stuggle with where to cut a photo after it's shot more than any other question. Even so, I think I'd stick with this one as-is because I like the light on the sleeve of her left arm.

 

Thanks for the fine-art compliment. This is one of the few times I've been really happy with the granular quality of digital, up-close. In this case it looks painted to me.

 

a side note...she noticed me shooting her after this and gave me one of the warmest smiles imaginable. I was so struck that i forgot to shoot it.

I agree with Rebecca regarding the crop. Very nice work!
