jokeweier 0 Posted January 31, 2007 It is still a heavy subject for me. And great that you keep photograph this! Greetings Link to comment
richard glover 0 Posted January 31, 2007 I like this photograph quire a bit. It has lovely tones, and parallel lines lead you into the subject nicely. I'm not so sure if the tilt adds anything though. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 31, 2007 It looks terrible Pawel, but good photographically, because of DOF and light. glad to see you again Link to comment
dankapsner 0 Posted February 2, 2007 There is an off-balance feeling from the tilt that seems appropriate to the photograph. I do not read German and am puzzled by the words. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted February 3, 2007 Part of me is glad that you are preserving these images in your photography, so the world won't forget what they did, but part of me wants this place to sink into the ground. I visited Auschwitz a few years ago, along with Maidanek i Lublin, what is left of the Lodz Ghetto and what used to be the Warsaw Ghetto.... Have you thought of photographing the Jewish cemetaries? They are fascinating. What about the walls around the old Krakow Ghetto?... You're documenting something that, I hope and pray, will never happen again. Link to comment
