After capturing the sunrise in the mountains (as you can see FirstLight, Seaof Clouds and http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?topic_id=1481&msg_id=00JebU&photo_id=5498534&photo_sel_index=0">Seaof Clouds II) we went back to the car. On the way back thisbeautiful view presented itself...

Jiri, it is a very touching image, the small lonely house ,on the verge of " nowhere" in the mountain...well captured the atmospher of human touch in natural surrounding. I like the panoramic form, the house is a good entering focus and leads the eye inside and around. very nice, did you climbed the mountain for photographing it? 55mm is not a tele/zoom...

Thanks all for your kind comments.

Yes, Pnina, I climbed a bit up on the slope to separate the building and the distant mountain. While I was climbing up, the fog in the valley got high enough to be visible (just some minutes before it was deep down in the valley)... And yes, the 55mm is a wideangle lens roughly equivalent to a 28mm in 35mm eq.

Pnina, I looked in my notes and this image was actually taken with the 55mm lens and a 2× teleconvertor. So the equivalent lens is around 55mm in 35mmeq terms...

Thanks for the information, with 55 mm you still needed to be quite close Jiry, I like it very much !
