old boat detail III

I would crop from the right to lose the negative space and then clone out the distant structure. I like the color and texture of the main subject.

A good idea. Could look good in BW too I think.

 

PS This image looks much better if viewed larger where all the beautiful details on the old boat can be clearly noticeable

You are right about the crop John, but I wanted to include the old structure in the composition. My mistake is that I was so close to the boat and the old stucture is very small and totally out of focus although the aperture is f14. Next time I shall try with a bigger focal length, in order to have a different perspective.
