From the same assignment as my other entry, Senators MacNamara, Humphrey, JFK. and Walter Reuther, UAW chief. Just thought Kennedy's aloof expression ( as though he is viewing a much bigger picture), was worth a second showing. If you have the time, view it Larger. Thanks.

Great shot. Perhaps he did have a bigger picture in mind. Certainly the others seem to be plying it up for JFK who is not amused. Lovely piece of history.

I think it would be Humphrey. (No need for the "s".)

Thank you for your kind comments, John, Bill and Jeremy. I had a gut feeling I had H.H.'s surname, wrong. My brain's been on sabbatical,of late. lol.

Superb b&w shot, Doug. The scene, expressions and viewpoint are unique. Excellent light and contrast. A high quality historical photograph. Congrats!

PS.- I like the Leica III-F ... about the lens used for this shot ... was the Elmar F=10.5cm f/6.3 lens ?? Thanks fot sharing! - - David

One of the best photos that I've seen here. I agree with your interpretation of JFK's expression as being "big picture." But, maybe there's also an element of naivete? The face of an ideologue? I could go on. Or, rather, the photo could. It has so many facets to explore. Well done.
