di pace 0 Posted January 29, 2007 The bird looks like it was grossly underexposed and the levels were raised so high that grain and color artifacts are overpowering. The blacked-out background was rushed and has obscured the edge-detail around the birds head. A warming filter would help with the blue cast and using graduated levels of black around the edges would minimize the loss of detail. Maybe a lighter background would work better and not draw so much attention to the grain. Link to comment
