Nice strong foreground with a serene and quite feel. Is this a lake?

Arthur, Yes, it's a small lake in the background. The colour of this sapling is what drew me to it. Looking at this one a bit closer I detect a bit of a magenta cast throughout as well. I'll work on it a bit to see if I can neutralize it. Perhaps you are on to something by suspecting the lab. Best, LM.

Greg, I have a version of this taken at f4 or f2.8 with the sapling being the center of focus. I didn't like it as well as this version. I had hoped the selective focus would make the sapling 'project' but for some reason it didn't come off well. Best, LM.
