Maybe somewhere betweens yours and mine, Dieter. I was trying to keep it fairly true to the colors that day, but agree it does look better with a little more saturation.

I like how close you appear. Great shot. I can never get this close to pelicans. Wonderful.

Where we live, the pelicans come right up to the shrimp boats and the shrimpers throw them the little fish and stuff they don't want. The pelicans have become almost tame. It's easy to walk right up to them within about 4' or so. I never get tired of photographing them.

I love pelicans, and this is wonderful! I never get tired of your pelican portraits, either.
