vancouverphotographer 1 Posted January 27, 2007 Incredible capture ... I can't fathom getting a good sized bird in flight sharply but you did with a smaller bird - great job. Link to comment

mary fran 0 Posted January 27, 2007 Wonderful Scott, terrific capture. Catching a small bird in flight given their speed is a true test of technical ability and you have passed with flying colors---(for anyone who doesn't understand the extreme degree of difficulty achieveing such a sharp shot :) Heck, I'm still working on blurry ones that are still in the frame :) Link to comment

kctwain 0 Posted January 27, 2007 Wow! Great one, Scott. Did you know you had the capture right away before looking at your monitor or were you pleasantly surprised? Well done. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted January 27, 2007 Thanks, everybody. Keith - With a dof of only an inch, maybe two, and given the hit to miss ratio of capturing a cardinal in flight, I never have any idea until I zoom in all of the way on the lcd of my camera. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2007 I presume that it is very hard to capture a bird with open wings dear Scott :) like drops :) Biliana Link to comment
