My Street

I took this picture from my driveway a few days ago because I

thought the sky was beautiful. I was surprized at how well it turned

out.

 

Any comments, critiques, advice are welcome.

Nicely captured Linda. The road provides a nice leading line. The image has a blue, cool tone which gives the scene a very nice eery, quiet appearance. I can almost hear the silence.

The sky is beautiful, indeed, and the composition is nice. It has the look of a painting because of the blue dominante on the snow. Is it intentional ?

When I took this I wasn't thinking so much about how it would turn out looking like a painting in shades of blue, I was just admiring the sky. The skys here in Western Canada are awe inspiring. I was a little bit surprized that it all worked together. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.

This is an my idea of heaven. The blues and the snow emit peaceful silence. The sky is magic.
