AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted January 30, 2007 The sky was nice, and the bales were right on the apex of the hill... I couldn't resist. cheers, Aaron Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted January 30, 2007 Tell us the truth. You rolled those bails to the top yourself. This is a set-up shot. It is a unique compo. Great sky. Beauty!! Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted January 31, 2007 Actually, Sisyphus is just to the left of the frame, taking a break. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted January 31, 2007 This appeals to more than the other. The yellow stripe competes too much while this one maintains the elegant simplicity. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 14, 2007 I've been looking for a scene like this around my area for years. I guess now I can quit because you've beat me to it... This is well done. Nice color, and whimsical composition. Personally, I would have been annoyed at the yellow patches of grass, and might have therefore cropped the bottom a little tighter, but they do add a little interest. Whatever, this is a beautiful photograph. Thanks, too, for taking me back to my brick folder. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Doug, thanks for your comments. I was going through a bale phase for a while. I guess, they are a little bit like brick walls - tough to show any kind of originality with. Link to comment
