darjeeling is a small hill station in west bengal,india in the

There are some interesting elements here and some good ingredients for a good photo, but it doesn't quite make a good image. I think this would be a more interesting image if the amputee were more to the left in the picture and more the focus of it. I played with the picture and I'm attaching a version that shows you what I'm suggesting. Hope you find it helpful.

The choice of black and white enhance the mystery in this image, Parvin! Great job!

I agree entirely with Rakeshji about your choice of tone,Parvin. This could have an image of Darjeeling circa 1907. Composition is very good. What a diffrence between crowded Mal and the serene atmosphere of this image!

I agree with Amalda and Rakeshji, there really is quite an interesting mood happening here that is brought out with this toning. I also don't mind the current positioning of the amputee - or the composition in general.
