mary fran 0 Posted January 26, 2007 Very nice Teresa, like the hints of color on the ground and good focus on the bird. Fits in beautifully with your personal style which I very much admire! Link to comment

tereay 0 Posted January 28, 2007 Thanks, all :) I never can get a good sharpness of birds, so I'm lucky he sits there long enough for me to shoot the picture. Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted January 28, 2007 Teresa, thank you again for your comment and rating to "Hug me". This image of yours is very pleasant. It has a composition that is fragile and very "airy". The formation of the sand and the lights/shadows playing over it, equally support the overall feeling. Usually basic rule says that one should have the animals eyes sharp and preferably pointing towards the viewer. Well, this time the look, to outside of the image, works very well. It seems like it is just about to burst into flight and that makes a very good tension to this capture. So, to me, this is great image. I like it a lot. Happy photo shootings! Alpo Link to comment

tereay 0 Posted January 30, 2007 I hope to be able to improve my bird photo skill (Mary here is really the expert :)) The color of the granite attracts me, or I might have made this a b/w. Thanks so much for your kind comments, really appreciate it! Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted January 31, 2007 Nice play on less is more Teresa. i.e. showing less of the bird and more of open space. This used to be a common bird in Singapore, unfortunately due to urbanisation it is seldom seen here now. Link to comment
tereay 0 Posted January 31, 2007 Thanks Alec, this one is actually in the Ocean Park, HK. They have quite a few of them, and I love watching them because they're always so cute and energetic. Singapore must be a better place for them, as its much cleaner than HK. Link to comment
