Oh... I'm going to have NIGHTMARES ~ you did it with this picture ~ you made me step back two steps! YIKES! Now you were safe right! I am using my stern face! I do love the red rock and the snow on the rock. I bet it was cold. The lines on the rock and how the rocks were formed is so cool! I bet you have a lot of really really cool pictures!

Thanks Jan and Micki for stopping by and leaving comments on this image. My friend there was definately more safe than me. That was about as close to the edge as she would go, but me, well I found a ledge that I could crawl down to and sit. It was great hanging my legs over the abyss, and she took a couple of shots of me, one is in my Arizona folder. Later that evening I when I was downloading the pics, I started having flashbacks and let me just say I didn't sleep to good that night. I don't know if it was brave or crazy, maybe a bit of both, but it sure was FUN!! Thanks again...LJ

Wow...makes my stomach do flip flops! I have a fear of heights so could never take a photo like it... Hanging your legs over the edge.... never in a million years! It's a wonderful photo and thanks for sharing it.

Sometimes photographers do the craziest & scariest things just to take a good picture. I can imagine your legs hanging on the ledge, whew! Cold sweat... But nice results.
