amanda mumma 0 Posted January 24, 2007 nice even lighting. IMO - the brunette would have been better on the left so that the light slightly above and to the side could separate her dark hair from the dark background. Can you see how the blonde is almost rim lighted? This would have been better with the brunnette. A nice job though and you've managed to get them nice and relaxed which is not an easy feat at this age. Well done Link to comment
puck 0 Posted January 24, 2007 the casual attire would also go better with a more casual style of shooting. it feels a little static here for me and the lighting needs to be worked on in the way that it is set out here. the brunette is casting shadow on the blond and perhaps diffused lighting from the front would have given a more evenly balanced picture? very good sharpness though. simonburgess7 0 Posted January 24, 2007 All Thanks for your very constructive comments. I appreciate you taking the time. I've had my studio lights for only 2 weeks and can only, I hope, improve. Your comments will help point me in the right direction I'm sure. All the best, Simon Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted January 26, 2007 A lovely and spontaneous portrait. I like the candy colours, they match their age. Link to comment
