Wilson, great photo! The posterization look around the sun is, I'm sure, just moisture/fog. Your shutter speed allowed for just the perfect amount of smudge on the water.

I love the soft focus on t1he water; it lends a dreany quality to the image. The halo effect on the sunset adds yet another dimension of interest. Nicely composed and well executed!
