peterfauland 0 Posted January 23, 2007 that nobody commented on this fantastic shot ? Very elegant and lovely tones. I would only crop a fraction of an inch in the bottom part or retouche the fingers. Best regards Peter Link to comment
vincent leleu arps 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Knowing the spider is real changes completely my view on this photo as I'm really scared of spiders! I would never have managed to shoot this one. Despite the fact that the spider is the subject matter of this photo and the body its environment, I was wondering if, from the point of view of composition, shifting the body higher in the frame (centering it vertically) and rotating it a little bit clockwise to make it more horizontal wouldn't benefit to the photo. It could create a symetrical composition that would be broken by the spider. I've tried it in photoshop myself but don't know how to insert the picture I came up with in this comment. Good work! momente 0 Posted January 23, 2007 A very well executed 'concept', and quite an amount of praise goes to your model, as well. This particualar shot is, in my opinion, more dramatic than the other one (that you've posted eariler), more fluent and more appealing to the eye. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted January 23, 2007 BEN: Beautiful shapes and lighting in this whole series. One might expect somebody to take 1 shot like this but you've managed to do many and they are each a wonder to view! KESSIE: You obviously have no fear of spiders so I'm not impressed with that aspect of this series. What does impress me is your modeling abilities. Not many people could pose with such grace and beauty that adds so much to this series. "Top shelf" modeling on your part! SPIDER: Nice work! Any idea how fortunate you really are? Seriously, A great example of imagination, creativity and skill. An inspiration! -Anthony Link to comment
scottkwest 0 Posted January 23, 2007 The spider looks real, I believe that. It's the model that looks too perfect to be real, and you made no such claim for her! :) Excellent use of curves and shadows. -Scott Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted January 24, 2007 I think I like this shot better - the lighting, the crossed diagonals of the legs. Link to comment
