This image is stellar, for it has portrayed a powerful contrast between life and death. The dull low and mid value colors elicit somber feeling. The plants on the left are grouped together producing unity and rythm. Their tallness is another contrast with the lifless skeleton lying on the soil. The highest and lowest spectrum of life. I gravely believe you have to change the title to ' life and death' or something in the vicinity. The crickets are in my view the subordinate presence that reinforece the concept of ongoing life and metamorphosis from one state into another.
