. . . for all the comments. Very little processing was done on this image, but I did clone out a small partial tree on the left. I left the one on the right in to add a little depth as well as a second subject to add interest.

Really nice capture Robert, great colors and composition.

I like this version of this tree. The darker corners put the tree into a 'halo' of light. This puts the emphasis on the shape of the tree and the sunset into the background. And then there is the tiny tree on the horizon. That is a lovely little 'echo' detail, much appreciated by yours truly. :)

 

Nice drop shadow. This framing suits the photo very nicely.

 

I have a tree like this that I love to shoot, too. To get mine with a background like this would be at sunset. I must try it. Thanks for the inspiration.
