henrimanguy 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Another view of this castle (see previous). I have made a black & white version from the colour original and turned it in this golden tone. Thank you for your ratings and comments. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Henri, I like the perspective and tonal quality, but my favorite is the color version of this castle. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 21, 2007 J'aime beaucoup les tonalit鳠que vous avez donné au chateau. C'est passionant de voir a quel point ils sont differents vos chateauforts et les notres! Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted January 21, 2007 I believe that the tonality has been a success. Regards. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 22, 2007 Ooooh! I love this, Henri! It's really what I loved so much about my wanderings in France back in 2005. The castles are gorgeous. And this one is no exception. Stuff that fairy tales are made of! Great treatment to this shot, too. Nice sky and wonderful perspective. I love it!! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted January 23, 2007 I like the light...the gold treatment is nicely done...I enjoy the vision through the arch with the forest and a piece of sky...congrats. Link to comment

colin carron 58,916 Posted January 23, 2007 I like the stark black and gold tones here which go with the uncompromising straight-on view. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Thank you all for your ratings and kind comments. I have to correct a mistake : the treatment was not from the black & white version but from the colour version (you can see a bit of green in the garden through the arch). Link to comment
treeffe 0 Posted January 25, 2007 It's a very good treatment, give the idea of a very ancient building (as it is!) Did you never try to correct the perspectve in postprocessing? the building with ultrawideangles seem allways to fall backward. regards -fabio- Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Thank you Fabio. Yes, I have think to correct the perspective, but I have think that it could be better to keep the sensation of (outburst ?... run ?...) toward the sky that gives the true perspective. Furthermore, the correction would not be perfect because the central roof would be hiden by the window, which is normal from this low view point but not from a central view point which would be induced by the frontal perspective. I hope you understand what I mean. Regards, Henri Link to comment
treeffe 0 Posted January 25, 2007 You're right about the roof, probably it would became innatural. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your toughts about them. Fabio Link to comment
