Petrified

Thought this might be of interest, to anyone who has never seen the inside of a petrified tree. Taken on a trip through the Petrified Forest, some years ago, this is part of a crosscut slab, that was sitting outside the Visitor Center.

I should have called it, Heart of Stone, as the core/heart is plainly visible, above center.
