Why do cats always look so grumpy when they wake up? :) I like both expressions in this shot.

You are right. They Do always look grumpy when they wake up ... and in a matter of fact the grey one in front of the monitor is very grumpy. I guess he knows when the photographing is over he will pushed down. He is only friendly when he is waiting outside in the cold to come in and when it's feeding time.

It's really beautiful Bente . The composition , light and especially the idea of the cat at the monitor .

Thanks for commenting here Alon. Glad you like it. This place in front of my monitor seems to be his favourite place for the time being and when I also had my photo oof another cat member of the house on teh monitor at the same time ... and teh camera only a few meters away ... I made this.

 

To be true he is often in the way when I'm working on the comp and he gets really crumpy whem I'm pushing him down.
