On the River Thames in Maidenhead. What do you think, should I have

cropped the image to give something more symmetrical?

I like the image the way you envisioned it here - but then I'm a not a big fan of symmetry - personal taste I guess. I like this image as it is! It makes a great b/w!

I like this kind of arrays but what makes this picture special is the different position of the birds ... yes, maybe the symmetry.

I like the graphics and compo...the birds provide that little extra which becomes central after viewing it for a while...regards, Laurent.

I don't mind at all. Cropping was exactly the question I had asked when I loaded the image onto RR.

I have to agree that some extra cropping at the top would be beneficial, but not as much as proposed here above

You could crop it but I don't mund the asymmetry. My theory is that the brain likes symmetry but can get bred with it quite quickly so for impact I would crop symmetrically and for other purposes I would leave it. That doesn't help does it :-)
