pjmeade 12 Posted January 20, 2007 On the River Thames in Maidenhead. What do you think, should I have cropped the image to give something more symmetrical? Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I like the image the way you envisioned it here - but then I'm a not a big fan of symmetry - personal taste I guess. I like this image as it is! It makes a great b/w! Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Good work in B&W, the light and the composition are very good. Regards. Link to comment
maria 7 Posted January 22, 2007 I like this kind of arrays but what makes this picture special is the different position of the birds ... yes, maybe the symmetry. ciao Maria Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted January 22, 2007 I like the graphics and compo...the birds provide that little extra which becomes central after viewing it for a while...regards, Laurent. Link to comment
alexb_paris 0 Posted January 22, 2007 nice picture. I think maybe some cropping could make it even nicer :), hope you dont mind me trying? :) Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted January 22, 2007 I don't mind at all. Cropping was exactly the question I had asked when I loaded the image onto RR. Pete Link to comment
mareval 2 Posted January 23, 2007 Good work Peter! What about in color... ?? Best Wishes. Link to comment
erwin1 0 Posted January 23, 2007 excellent capture, Peter ! I have to agree that some extra cropping at the top would be beneficial, but not as much as proposed here above erwin Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 23, 2007 You could crop it but I don't mund the asymmetry. My theory is that the brain likes symmetry but can get bred with it quite quickly so for impact I would crop symmetrically and for other purposes I would leave it. That doesn't help does it :-) Link to comment
