mmene 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Difficult to decide between colored or B&W picture. You already mentioned to me that you maybe should prefer B&W. I decided to use color because I believe that this way I emphasize the surreal, paranoic and decay style of the whole story. I will follow up with some B&W pictures of this series. Link to comment
glenn_stear 1 Posted January 20, 2007 These store dummies are very attractive as they are generally based on real people. I used several in a photograph many years ago and was told it's bad form to use them in photographs. I didn't know why then and don't know now and further more don't care! Helmut Newton did a whole series using store dummies and if he can use them anyone can. Good idea, good posing, good lighting, well done. Link to comment

John Peri 1,029 Posted January 20, 2007 Amazingly, the model's expression suits the gesture! It makes one wonder what is real. So much that we imagine is so, is really not, and vice versa. Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted January 21, 2007 An interesting exploration for a series. And I think colour versions are nice as it accentuates a realistic surrounding. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Somebody has some "issues".... But very well done image! I also like the colour - it adds mood and emotion that would otherwise be lost - (I.E. the bright red lipstick speaks volumes - that would be lost in the b/w!) Very cool pic! I like her name too!
