Landrum Kelly 64 Posted January 19, 2007 Fantastic! I don't have anything else to say, Tyler, except to get that file to a lab and prepare for your exhibit. I like the "painterly" effect on this one. I see "upgrade" coming soon for you. Perhaps a 5D or a 1Ds Mark II? You'll want to be able to blow these up big so that they will sell, if you ever go that route. --Lannie Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Lannie--Thanks for your feedback! I really do appreciate your encouragement--it means a lot to me! Do you think I should upgrade my camera? I had someone else tell me if I really wanted to do large scale printing I'd probably need 10MP. If I need to do this, I would probably like to do it soon so I don't waste money buying lenses and filters that I will not use with the new body. I also need to learn more about the Canon cameras that are the rungs of the ladder above mine-features, prices, compatibility with my lenses, etc. I posted a question about this today in the Canon EOS forum to get some more feedback. Drop by and check out the responses if you have a spare minute. Thanks again for the suggestions and compliments--I do appreciate them tremendously! Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted February 26, 2007 Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated! I'd love to hear some comparisons between this and the other compositions/exposures in the same folder. Thanks! Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted February 26, 2007 So, what do you guys think about the exposure on this shot? Is the foreground way too dark, or does it work all right to speak "NIGHT" for this photo? I had previously posted the same composition that was more exposed and several of you mentioned that the foreground was a bit light and the bridge towers and cables were blown out--I think this addresses the bridge exposure well but may be too dark in the lower half. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Link to comment
