This is a wonderful capture - a special moment to keep forever, although I'm not a fan of the processing, it's just personal taste, I do love the composition and perspective and cropping. Really excellent. Well done!

The lighting is also very good, revealing just enough detail in the far eye. (Did you get that in the processing or did you organize the light source so perfectly?) I also like the detail in the left index finger, and the way the finger next to it is bent: the juxtaposition, provided also by the splayed right hand, adds to the dynamic interplay between the girl's serene look of concentration and the motion of the hands. Very nice. There is music in this picture indeed.

thank you for the very supportive and detailed comments. As with most of my work that works, it is both intentional and something else that I cannot harness. I just got my new alien bees light kit and asked my daughter to hang out and 'play' while I got acquainted with the lights. So, the light is intentional, but the diagonal change from light blonde hair to black keys is something that my camera found before I did.

Shot works perfectly.......before reading the comments, I thought it had been taken through a window.......
